Day 358: Reeds in Water
My fascination with shadows and reflections continues.
Day 25: I’m BPA Free!
Kate brought home these cups from Costco today. I didn’t think much of it until I took one, filled it with ice and water, took it out to the deck and sipped from it. I quickly realized that this was no ordinary cup I was holding. Upon closer examination, I noticed the cup was made with double walls to prevent condensations and to keeps the drink cold longer. The entire cup and straw assembly is made from a sturdy BPA-free plastic, so it says on the label. I have no idea what BPA is, but it sounds dangerous and something I want to stay away from. Already impressed, I continued my examination and saw that the straw has a little ridge built in at the bottom end to keep it from sliding out of the cup. I hate it when my straw flies out as I try to take a sip. No such accidents will happen with this ingenious design. The lid is lined with a rubber gasket so when you twist it shut, the cup becomes completely spill proof - a sippy cup for grown-ups. I'm sold.
Day 7: Lake Massapaug
It was almost 8pm and once again, I didn’t have any idea for today's photo. On the way home from work, I stopped at Lake Massapaug in Sharon. I pass by this lake almost everyday and never stopped to take a photo. I’m glad I did tonight. I might come back tomorrow with my tripod and try the same shot over again.
